Sheikh Ahmed Bin Mohammed Bin Rashid inaugurated a new Dubai landmark – Dubai Garden Glow Theme Park – which is being tagged as the world’s largest themed garden comprising 10 different themed landmarks, including a Burj Khalifa replica made entirely of medicine bottles.
The Dubai Municipality flagship Dubai Garden Glow is a DH30 million project which is officially open to visitors since December 23, 2015 right through April 2015. Dubai Garden Glow is spread across 40 acres, with 32 installations made by 150 artists in 200,000 man hours. It is located in Area B, Gate 6 & 7 also known as Zabeel Park.
Dubai Garden Glow offers two diverse experiences, ‘Art by day and Glow by night’, with unique installations, along with a sparkling garden that glitters in the evening. The themed destination in Zabeel Park also features several live performances by international, regional and local artists and acrobats. Some live musical performances have been conceptualised to showcase the UAE culture to the world.
Younger children have a dedicated area where they can enjoy ‘learning with fun’. The venue also includes several games and fun activities to keep them engaged. There will also be a large food street that offers delicacies from around the world. Another highlight is the light show – an enchanting display of lights, never seen before, says DM.
In addition to the above, Dubai Garden Glow is also seen showcasing interesting concepts for the younger children like the talking tree, panda paradise, dino camp and candy land to name few. Tickets for Dubai Garden Glow are priced at AED 60 per person, with free admission for children below three years.
Note: It is all built by recycling waste products.
